Okay first thing to know is that it’s only available in Dubai so far. The Dubai-based restaurant, Red Tomato Pizza, has designed a fridge magnet that lets customers who are both hungry and lazy to order a pizza for delivery simply by pressing a button.
Here’s how it works. In order to set-up the one-touch process, the user has to do a one-time registration with the ‘VIP Fridge Magnet’ via Bluetooth on a smartphone. The customer chooses their favorite type of pizza order and this order will be tied to the customer’s account unless changed.
Once the user presses the button marked “Push for hunger,” the order is placed and a text confirmation is sent to the smartphone. If the button was pushed by accident, the order can be canceled by sending a quick text in response.
Well, well, well. Aren’t we turning into the kind of world we always hoped we would be.
