On this small corner of the web, we’ve swooned over miniature versions of just about everything– a miniature Parisian café, micro vintage trailers, shrunken 1950s small town America, an underwater city, after-hours New York, bohemian ateliers, heck, I even dedicated an entire category on this blog to teeny tiny stuff. And since I’m guessing this is probably a safe place to assume we all enjoy a bit of digging for bric-a-brac treasure at vintage markets and weekend brocante sales now and again, I thought this recent find would complement the MessyNessyChic collection quite nicely…
It’s that antique shop we’ve all stumbled upon while passing through one charming town or another; antiques artfully but effortlessly displayed like a theatrical set-up, except of course, all the rustic rickety furniture and well-aged objects are intended for a shopper about as large as your little finger. Our miniature mastermind with a knack for antiquating their little creations is Studio Soo, a South Korean artist whose work I happened upon on Flickr.
But without further ado, it’s time to indulge in some teeny tiny nostalgic shopping…
