Suddenly, I’m feeling a little bit warmer in my chilly office this morning after considering this abandoned home hijacked and frozen in time by ice and snow; the homely floral tablecloth stiff as a board, reading glasses on a night table embedded in ice. This is the art installation of Chris Larson, a native of Minnesota, where of course, no one is a stranger to a little chill. A few years ago in his hometown of St.Paul, he decided to build this small cabin, and then waited for winter when the temperatures drop as low as -13 °C/ 7 °F . He then proceeded to spray it with hundreds of gallons of water, resulting in this apocalyptic scene. You know, just because … Winter is Coming!
He called it “Deep North”. Check it out…
So, who wants to talk about climate change?!
