Living in Europe, we’re a little spoilt for beautiful mosaic/ tiled flooring found in cafés, museums and historic buildings, and of course here in Paris, with all its charming architecture, the eye is almost trained to constantly look up. But a newly discovered instagram account has reminded me just how much I’m forgetting to do one very important thing: look down! (And to wear pretty shoes too).
It’s pretty simple, if you’re an avid instagrammer and you find yourself walking on a particularly lovely floor, take a “selfeet” (selfie + feet), tag the photo (#ihavethisthingwithfloors) and it may very well just end up in the selfeet hall of fame. Just another reason why instagram is awesome, here are some of my favourites from this addictive account…
