Each one of Blaise Arnold’s characters are highly suspicious. The Parisian photographer takes us on a journey back in time through the 20th century, discovering scenes of untold mystery, expertly composed to fully immerse us in the past. Despite his French scenery, there’s Hollywood quality to Arnold’s series called “Stories“and a desire to know more of the story like any good movie poster. He provides us with the names of his subjects but the rest is up to your imagination. It reminds me of those writing assignments we were given in school, where teachers gave us an opening sentence and we were asked to finish the story. I imagine if you were a murder mystery novelist with writer’s block, these might come in handy…
