I‘m currently sitting in an airport lounge on my way back to Paris for a few days before setting off again. I was trying to pass the time before boarding when I came across a snippet of a wonderful little vintage cartoon about Paris, thanks to an instagram account I follow. Scrambling through my carry-on to retrieve my laptop, I just had to share the full clip with you before I take off. Made in 1958 by French cartoonist Albert Champeaux, “Paris Flash” is a charming and satirical cartoon about Parisian life and tourism of the era. This would have been shown to audiences in Parisian cinemas, just before the film. It’s got me excited to get back to my city, I hope you enjoy it…
